Position Summary
Astronergy is seeking an experienced Channel Business lead for Thailand. He/She shall lead DG sales activities to drive the growth of our distribution generation business in Thailand. He/She will develop, maintain and grow Astronergy network of clients in the region, organize events and promote Astronergy products to increase sales volumes and market share in the DG segment across the country.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Increase the network of distributors and develop trusted relationships with customers.
- Identify, qualify, engage, secure, and grow the opportunities from local top 10 distributors in Thailand.
- Actively generate leads in Thailand and maintain a sales pipeline in the CRM system.
- Develop relationships among installers to support the growth of our distributors and channel partners.
- Implement Astronergy’s sales plan and achieve sales targets, including but not limited to sales volume, marketing share, revenues, etc.
- Team up closely with technical and marketing teams to support client needs and grow revenue.
- Develop a GTM strategy for Thailand and realistic sales targets in collaboration with the Head of DG Business Europe.
- Lay out the foundation to create a sales team focused on distributors, wholesalers, C&I installers and channel partners.
- Manage the entire sales process from customer acquisition until delivery and payments.
- Monitor the market – gain the ability to make reliable forecasts.
- Represent Astronergy regularly at trade fairs and conferences.
- Organize with the marketing team campaigns and events in Thailand.
- Organize with the technical team roadshows, webinars, conferences, and customer training.
Qualification Requirements:
· At least 3 years of work experience in PV industry.
· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
· Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence peers and interact with the rest of the team.
· Solid experience with MS Office and CRM.
· Excellent analytical, listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Fluent in English, any other local language will be considered an advantage.
· Results oriented and customer oriented with a hunting attitude.
· Willingness to travel to Thailand frequently (50% of the time or more).
